US pricing for 2009 Cayenne
Porsche Cars North America has announced the prices of its 2009 Cayenne models, which will go on sale in the US, on July 14, 2008. Cayenne Turbo S is priced at $123,600, while the Cayenne Turbo is priced at $97,700. Cayenne variants are priced at $44,600 for the base model, $59,400 for the S model, and $ $70,900 for the GTS model. Compared with the current model year, prices for 2009 have been increased between 2.3% and 4.3%. The company claims that new features, including advanced audio and communication systems, more powerful brakes on the Turbo models, extended service intervals and a multitude of equipment options currently unavailable for most models, makes the 2009 Cayenne range more attractive than ever. On-sale date of the Turbo S is August 8, 2008.
The company also claims that the new Porsche Communication System PCM 3.0, currently introduced in the new-generation 911 sports cars, will also be available in all 2009 Cayenne models. PCM 3.0 is standard on the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S. PCM 3.0 features a touchscreen and provides expanded capacities, ease of operation and the latest in-car technologies such as an iPod port, hard disk drive navigation, the addition of XM NavTraffic and XM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port and an auxillary jack.

$44k for a base model Cayenne seems pretty cheap. On the other hand, I’m sure after you option in even the most basic things, it will be up over $50k pretty quick.
