The New Cayenne Turbo S

porsche-cayenne-turbo-s.jpgBeing a loyal lover of the Cayenne family, particularly the turbo model. I was extremely excited to hear about the release of the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Just when I thought the Cayenne turbo couldn’t get any better, Porsche raises the bar again. The 4.8 liter V-8 twin turbo charged engine cranks out a whopping 550 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. The additional power was obtained through a modified exhaust system and improvements to the engine management. The exhaust system is simply stunning. The four tailpipes are made from aluminum investment casting. Also adding to the overall aesthetics are massive 21 inch wheels and painted wheel arches which emphasize the wheels nicely.

And of course PASM, Porsche active suspension management. Porsche has also created the option to add a ceramic composite brake package running off a six piston caliper up front and a four piston in the rear. Between the handling, braking, and power, you’ll probably forget your behind the wheel of an SUV. The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is one sharp looking SUV that combines performance with luxury and functionality. Hey, isn’t that what Porsche does best?
