One Spicy Cayenne GTS

cayenne-gts2.jpgStating I was ecstatic hearing the new release of the Cayenne GTS would be an understatement. Porsche was able to take the already extremely popular and of course powerful Caynne model, slap a GTS badge on and tweak some esthetics to produce one of the best looking Cayenne’s yet. At first glance I noticed a massive change in the overall esthetics from even its little brother the original Cayenne. With new under-body paneling , quad matte finished over-sized tailpipes, and an enlarged rear spoiler integrated into the taillight, the overall look of the Cayenne lives up to the branding GTS. The wheels have also been bumped up to a 21 inch double spoke five star that flows with the overall esthetics of the lower ride height. This is no doubt no bad ass Cayenne. With two new vibrant colors, GTS Red and Nordic Gold Metallic you’d be hard pressed to miss this beast driving by.

cayenne-gts3.jpgUS buyers should look to spend around $69, 300 for some pride of ownership. With prices well under the Cayenne turbo, its worth checking into. With the GTS cranking out 405hp you would still be missing that extra 100hp that the turbo offers to suck your eye balls to the back of your head. However the GTS power was increased and gained 20hp.  Even without the brute strength of the Cayenne turbo the GTS is no snail. If you love the Cayenne turbo but cant foot the bill and are looking for more than the Cayenne S, the GTS offers a great balance of esthetics and performance that seems to fill that gap perfectly.
