2008 Cayenne Turbo

porsche-cayenne.jpgWhen you bring up the words Porsche Cayenne around any Porsche enthusiast you’ll here several different opinions. There’s so much contraversy percolating around the Cayenne lineup because people feel the Cayenne model has left a bad stain on the Porsche brand. Many feel its taken away from Porsche being one of the leading sports car manufacturers. This may be true, however the majority of Porsche’s sales is now derived from the Cayenne brand. If you like the Cayenne or not, Porsche took a calculated risk developing the Cayenne model and that risk has been paying off. Lets take a closer look at my personal favourite model, the Cayenne Turbo.

porsche-cayenne-gts.jpgThe 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo received some major changes to the esthetics. With a new facelift that features a dramatic new headlight design and with a wide and muscular body accented by broader wheels. Porsche bumped the wheels to a massive 21-inch. A few other added changes are a push button start and a powered rear gate helping add to the label of luxury sport utility.

porsche-cayenne-turbo.jpgPorsche delivers even more power from the new Cayenne Turbo with a 4.8-liter V8 that cracks out an incredible 500 hp and 516 pounds-feet of torque. Pushing 0-60 in a short 4.9 seconds. Not bad for a vehicle that will take you through some of the most rough terrain in the world. If you intent to track the Cayenne Turbo, you’ll be able to reach a top speed of 171 mph.
